While I loved practicing and teaching Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Vermont, I missed full time practice and the relationships I developed with clients and their pets. I left UVM to open LOC in October and am so happy to be a full-time house call vet! Being at home, can make all the difference for pets and their families, where everyone is relaxed. In addition, I believe my medical practice has improved as I have the time to sit with each pet, in their own environment, and speak to their caregivers and family members about how they spend their time.
